At Idlewild, we provide the perfect setting for your wedding, corporate or private event. We can host events in a variety of settings, from our fire-place dining area in our banquet hall, to our lawn and terrace with breath taking views and sunsets.

Idlewild Country Estate is a magnificent venue with a unique, newly built chapel overlooking the Rietvlei Nature Reserve. Idlewild Country Estate is situated on a farm between Johannesburg and Pretoria, only 30km from O.R. Tambo International Airport. The venue has rolling lawns where Blesbuck roam freely.

Our Country Style design gives you the feeling of tranquillity & peace. At Idlewild, we provide the perfect setting for your wedding, conference, matric farewell or function. The venue can host between 80 and 500 people.
