Join us for our 2nd ~ 2 day trail run/walk in Mpumalanga!  

It is taking place at De Voetpadkloof Resort near the Loskop Dam Valley  from 7 - 8 June 2025. 

 

There will be various distance options available and some of them even doggy friendly!

So come and join us for our 5th pet friendly stage run.

 

**** IMPORTANT PET FRIENDLY ARRANGEMENTS AND RULES ****

 

Please note this venue is not a pet friendly venue in general. 

It is a special arrangement that was made FOR THIS WEEKEND ONLY to allow our trail runners/walkers to come and enjoy this beautiful landscape with their four-legged friends as well.  

 

Very strict rules will be applied during the weekend, as all dogs will have to be kept on leash at all time due to all the wild life roaming around at the venue. 

There are also Baboons roaming free at the venue and therefore necessitates the on-leash requirement for all dogs.

Non-adherence to this rule will be subjected to a R1 000 fine and you might be requested to leave the establishment without any refunds.

 

Please respect the arrangements to allow us to enjoy the weekend and to ensure the venue allow us to have another pet friendly stage run the following year as well.

 

The weekend will be filled with lots of trail running options, food, drinks and games to keep everyone entertained. There are also a lot of activities available at the venue to keep you entertained.

 

The venue also have a spa available - so make sure to book your massage or treatment well in advance to avoid disapointment.

 

Saturday evening there will be a Social Braai available to chat and mingle with your fellow trail warriors,  so make sure to join us for this great night as well.

Make sure to purchase your break pack from the resort by no later than 23 May 2025.  This will include two meat, salad and pap & sauce. You can also bring your own meat to braai. Salad can be purchased from the venue as well before 23 May 2025, and pap & sauce will be available. Please note, that you will have to braai your meat yourself, as this is part of the social experience.  The venue will provide cutlery and crockery, but bring your own braai tongs.  The cash bar will also be available

 

Online entries for the 2-day trail run, up until 16 May 2025, and will receive a Revolution Trails Surprise Item. Online entries close on 3 June 2025.

Single day entries will still be available at the venue on Friday night during registration as well as on Saturday and Sunday mornings.

All entrants will receive a specifically designed medal at the end of the two days.

 

The top 3 overall male and female finishers for each of the 4 challenges will also receive a special trophy during the awards ceremony on Sunday morning. The award ceremony will be at 09h00 on Sunday morning.

These 3 finishers will be determined based on the results of the 1st and 2nd day times. 

Single day entrants do not qualify for this.

 

There will be 4 different challenges to choose from of which three will be pet friendly.

 

We recommend securing your accommodation for the weekend at De Voetpadkloof Resort before they are booked out.  There will be a lot of accommodation available at the venue, such as 10 Log Cabins, 10 Chalets, 17 Safari Tents and 60+ campsites!

 

Race entry fees include the venue entrance fees as well.

For online Single day entries, the price includes the day visitor fee at the venue. 

However, all other spectators will be required to pay the venue entrance fee at registration at the venue.
